I was intrigued by the design of this mask. As a diver you learn to breathe through your mouth instead of your nose, so I was curious how that would work. I wanted a mask to keep the snorkel out of the way while snorkeling. This item is incredibly convenient. The wide silicone skirt fits snugly to the face and does not leak. And on top of that, there's an inner skirt that isolates your nose from the lens to keep it from fogging up. The tube has a ball that seals when it goes down and it works fine. Most pipes fill up with a lot of water and need cleaning. This tube was capped every time and I didn't have to flush anything. It's also designed so that the silicone nose cone will hold a small amount of water if you have any type of leak. And the nose cone is padded so you can pinch your nose to balance as you dive deeper into the water. It took me a few minutes to get used to nasal breathing, but once I did it was very comfortable. I liked that I didn't have a tube. out of my mouth as I swam around and looked at things. This design is more efficient in the water, just like the tubes you buy for triathlon training. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
