Review on 🍞 Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso Plus Breadmaker: Perfect 2 lb. Loaf, Sleek Stainless Steel/Black Design by Richard Turner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The latest and greatest bread maker

Even though I've only been using this machine for two days and have baked one loaf so far, I don't hesitate to give a review beforehand. I've been baking my own bread for over 50 years and have owned the Original Zojirushi Bread Maker for over 20 years. When he passed away a week ago, I researched him carefully before deciding on Virtuoso Plus. Make no mistake, it's expensive, big and heavy (I needed my son's help to bring it home and set it up). However, once set up it was very easy to use and the finished product - plain white bread - was arguably the best bread I have ever baked, even compared to hand kneaded oven baked bread. breads. The dual paddles do a great job of kneading the dough, and the additional top heating element allows you to have an excellent end product. A truly exceptional bread. Also, this machine is very versatile besides bread baking. There are a number of websites describing a range of oven products that can be baked in bread makers and with the optional top heating element the possibilities expand. I'm so glad I chose this car! I'm taking a star off my rating because the display is more complicated than it should be, isn't backlit (I have to use a flashlight to read it), and it's on the top of the device instead of the front. like my old Zo. This is especially annoying when you're small like me. In fact, I had to disqualify most other devices on the market because they didn't even have a tilted display, just a display that was all the way up. At least the Zo Virtuoso Plus has a slightly tilted display, so I don't have to stand on anything to program the settings. What do manufacturers think? Do you think most users are giants? Apparently they don't think at all!
