Review on 🚗 Bosch BS960 Blue Drum Brake Shoe Set for 2009-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & 2009-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 - Rear by Daniel Ogbebor

Too thick or pad frame too big for 2011 GMC Sierra SLE 5.3. .When the adjuster is set all the way back, the new drum, EVEN THE OLD DRUM, WILL NOT GO BACK! If you try to put on one of the drum kits, only chew on the side of the pads! UPDATE: I ended up buying a second set because I thought maybe Bosch somehow missed the ball in quality control with the first set of pads. NO! I bought a second set of EXACT and they didn't fit either! So instead of putting a drum in those shoes (and chewing the hell 'em) I put them back in and now I'm coming back for a refund. I ended up going to an auto parts retail store and got a set of drum shoes (a different brand). You do not know? EVERYTHING went as it should (and as easy as it should). So the problem was DEFINITELY the slightly larger Bosch drum shoes! Just FYI the first set of Bosch shoes I bought was so exhausted from this ordeal that one of the shoes had 2 tears and a ton of chips, they couldn't be returned (or used). Also, I knew it wasn't a new drum because it was identical in size to the original. I think I could grind the shoe frames to fit, but why would I have to make them? Isn't that the point of buying a new one? These shoes DEFINITELY will NOT fit in the bed of my truck. I've always loved Bosch products, but this attempt took me far from that line of thought! I don't know if Bosch quality control works in their drum pad department. is incompetent, or maybe the 2 different kits I received were isolated defects (which would mean I was unlucky. TWICE!) or that they are for a different model of my truck, although Revain claims they are of the same size correspond to. Well, Bosch, one thing is for sure: 1 millimeter can make a big difference when installing brake pads correctly! When it comes to my cars, I will keep my hands off Bosch!
