I love it my husband loves to make "Italian Cream Soda" and bought $6 Torrani vanilla coffee flavors and ate them too fast for my liking. 8 decided I could easily make a vanilla flavor and use it to store and dispense the flavor. I make 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon real vanilla. Boil sugar and water until dissolved, cool slightly and add vanilla. Tastes great and is significantly cheaper for our purposes! Even if you haven't tried Italian cream soda, I recommend it. Tastes like cream soda but with far fewer additives. Personally, I put 3-4 ice cubes in a 16 ounce glass. Fill about a quarter of the glass with whipped cream and the rest with sparkling water. Add flavor as you like and adjust the creaminess with the amount of cream.
