Review on SHURFLO 255 313 Twist Pipe Strainer by Jose Smith
Replaced on my Rpod caravan
I was surprised at how dirty mine was and that it was clogged with bits of plastic from the camper manufacturer's plumbing fittings. I suspect it was mainly because they drilled holes in the fresh water tank. The price was right just replacing the element and I noticed a big difference in water flow and pressure. The new one looked 10 times brighter than my used one. I've heard from a few people that they're notorious for cracking in the winter if they're not winterized. You might want to keep extra on hand.
