I have a brother of this mount, the PHV-200-BL mount for me and I liked it so much I bought it for my wife bought . Great universal mount for smartphones and small portable navigation devices. We use it in a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with a Samsung Focus. Pros:+ The vent mount works great: two adjustable, spring-loaded hooks at the top, a pivoting mount at the bottom that rests against the bottom edge of the vent (dash). ).+ The stand is well padded and easily adjustable in width to securely hold your device.+ The stand attaches to the base with a ball joint with a clamp ring to lock the position so you can tilt it up/down /left/right/whatever + Cradle has a simple ratchet to adjust the sides securely to keep your device in place Cons: - Doesn't matter yet. Total install time for me with hooks was less than a minute because I had done it before. Last time it took about five minutes: two minutes to read the instructions, two minutes to figure out how to properly hold the spring hooks so they stay open and stick them in my air vents, and one minute to set up the phone stand . .Intelligent hook attachment mechanism. It includes two long, spring-loaded hooks that fit into the top of the mounting plate. Despite the fact that the vents are curved and horizontal rather than vertical, there were no installation issues. The hooks attach to the stand in a slot that allows them to slide left and right. The hooks themselves can be rotated 360 degrees so they can be attached to blinds/vents in any direction. Very smart! The stand consists of several mm thick foam rubber on all surfaces that touch your phone: the two side brackets, the fold-out bottom stands and the support pad. This should minimize vibration and shaking while driving, which is a nice feature. There is a small tab under the right side stand bracket that can be pressed to change the width of the arm. It looks like it has some sort of ratcheting feature that lets you move step by step. Overall, this thing works great, just like its cousin. I recommend this line so much I bought one for every car in the house :)
