I’m hard of hearing. Without my hearing aids, I can’t tell if dad needs me in the middle of the night. He’s 90 and his room is across from mine. He has the doorbell button and presses it if he needs something. I have the receiver plugged in next to my bed. It’s worked really well, so far. I was confused one night when the sound had changed to barking dogs because I thought dogs were barking outside, and one night the sound came out as a rooster, haha. Anyway, he has a fancy medic alarm he can wear around the house but this works great in the middle of the night, and I don’t have to wear my hearing aids to hear it.
