Ok this is dumb but I love love love this crush. It is ideal for making guacamole, clam sauce and mashed potatoes. I was so upset when my mum didn't have it at home that I bought it for her and now she can't imagine not having it either. Yes, it's just a crusher, but it's certainly nice to have the right tool for the job when you need it. Update July 2014: It's also great for browning hamburgers or taco sausages, chili, spaghetti sauce, etc. It breaks them easily. in my stainless steel pans into nice little crumbs. It looks just as good today as it did the day I bought it (7/9/12). Small but powerful: 7.5"L x 3"W x 1.5"H. It fits easily in the top drawer. Update July 2018: I still can't live without one of these. It's one of the first items repurchased after losing our home in the bush fires last October thanks to the fire I'm a 'minimalist' now but this little cooking tool is a justified luxury! love it!
