Review on πŸ”‘ Convenient Quick Release Key Chain with 2 Split Rings (5 Pack) - KEY-BAK Side Slide Accessory by Jermaine Munajj

Revainrating 3 out of 5

With reservations ok

The concept and the work are excellent. I've been using this keychain for about 30 years now. During this time I have experienced a lot and what can be expected when the production takes place in the Far East. My earlier ones had a broken hinge, spring clasp, or a small grip on the clasp. Some are better made than others but these are rare to find - nonexistent which led me to these and at $13 for 5 hope was slim. Fresh out of the bag, I squeezed the trigger and snapped it back into place. the little pen flew away. These handles are pressed in, so no wonder they can fall out. I've had threaded and screw models that went nowhere with soft to permanent threadlock. It looks like I'll make a little handle and then tap to screw it in. Insanity. that I'm modifying a $3 part to work like it should have come from the factory. Since I have the tools on hand, it's not difficult. The overall finish is mediocre. Rough casting and grinding marks are visible on a raw cast body. Some cases are well finished while others have dirt before the chrome application. Spring release operations are smooth on all my rehearsals. The swivel is rough, but everything smoothes out with use. Assuming they hold up. For $2.60 you get what you pay for. In this case, there's a reason you're getting 5 in a pack. Also bought a version with a square body. No problems so far, but again, you get what you pay for. Note, however, that these pins have a high probability of falling out. Otherwise the key fob worked normally.
