One tug and it's over. however there is a loop deep off in the fur where you can attach a better keychain. This is what I'm doing. As far as is the fur real. I did a burn test. It was really cute and soft. No shedding, however i had it for a day. The black string popped off and i couldnt find it. I was so hurt. But its cool wasnt meant to be i guess.

The key ring is attached with a very cheap elastic band and breaks the first time it gets caught on something. The fur was also very coarse and not soft to the touch. I had mine in use one day before it broke. I returned all 3 that I purchased.

I love the color of this pompon but I attached my keys to it and the white strap broke of after having it for only 1 week, so now I cant use it as a keychain. If they were to make the white strap a lot more sturdy I would definitely buy another one because the fur part is really cute.

This won't last long. It's literally hanging by a thread. On a keychain it's a disaster. Don't recommend this for a keychain.
