We bought our first absorber almost 3 years ago: We use it to wipe the shower after each use - almost every day! - to avoid the accumulation of mold and soap residue on the walls of the shower. Thus, the previous absorber lasted almost 3 years with daily use. Not too shabby. We don't wash in the laundry; If the absorber stinks a little, we soak it in a white vinegar bath and then just rinse it off and hang it over the shower door for the next use. The first one was a bit torn around the edges with a few small tears - although it still worked! - but we felt it was time to replace it. I was happy to see that Absorber is still available from Revain.
