Inexpensive Meat

This meat thermometer is definitely easy to use. It turns on automatically when you take out the metal part of the thermometer and turns off when you close it. I had no problem using it right away without reading the user manual, but it's included if you need it. There is a button to change the temperature between Fahrenheit and Celsius and another button to hold the temperature, so you can easily remove the thermometer before looking at the temperature if needed. Thermometer. It shows you how to cook well-done medium-rare beef, as well as cooking temperatures for poultry and ground beef. Makes cooking easier so you don't have to watch the temperature while cooking. The thermometer is also easy to store, which is great. It has a hole in the top so it can be hung on a hook and it's magnetic too. I keep it on my fridge for easy access. The waterproof claim is certainly true! Sometimes I can be very clumsy and accidentally drop it into a pot of boiling water on the stovetop while using it and it's been fine. It was also easy to clean after use. The thermometer is powered by a 3V lithium battery and I really appreciate that not only does it already come in the thermometer so I can use it straight away, but that a second battery is also included! The kit also includes an opener that allows you to easily open the battery compartment when you need to replace the battery. The user manual has instructions on how to do this, but it is very intuitive so you may not need instructions. In general this is a very good product. It is easy to use and if you encounter any problems you can just follow the instructions as they contain both written instructions and pictures.
