If you just need something to cover your CDs or DVDs so they don't chip or get scratched then these cases are perfect. Note that they are papery and can tear, but if you handle them well this shouldn't be a problem. I'm a photographer and I burn photo DVDs. I like to use them to cover the DVDs I give to my clients because they are cheap and effective. If you're looking for solid protection that won't crush your DVD or CD when you put something on it, you'll have to look elsewhere. It's just a thin coating to protect your discs from scratches. I like that the front is transparent so you can see what disc is inside the box. There's also a small flap on the back that keeps the case opening closed so the disc doesn't fall out. Bottom line: these are paper bushings that are good enough not to scratch your rims.
