Review on 🎙️ OM Digital Solutions WS-600S Digital Voice Recorder - Silver (142610) by Ray Welchhance

I bought this and an Olympus ME-52W Noise Canceling Microphone on the recommendation of another reviewer. Didn't receive the mic today but did receive the voice recorder and it works GREAT! I tested it with a TV in a small room, and while there was still white noise, the audio was clear. I don't think I'll have a problem using it in lectures in small rooms, but for larger classes I'm glad I bought the mic, I'll update this review once classes start. Packs of instructions in different languages, I have read the instructions and although they look a bit complicated they are very detailed. There are exactly five files in the recorder to save different recordings but you cannot rename or add/delete them which is very unfortunate because I am taking six courses this semester. All in all I am very happy with this voice recorder and can't wait to use it in class! Edit: It also comes with a soft carrying case, I just saw that people often buy a case along with this voice recorder so thought I'd mention it. Edit again! I've been diligently recording my classes for over a month now and can now write a (more informed) review. The best advice I can give you is to buy a microphone, it's so important I don't think I would use a voice recorder without it; the sound difference is so big. My college has a theater where I sit in two classes, I sit in front of one and behind the other and I have three other classes in small rooms and they all come loud and clear except for one teacher who mumbles a lot and although I sitting in front of him I can't understand him so I think it's a good investment ;)
