Inexpensive razor in a nice gift box

This is a regular razor. It comes in a fancy box that reminds me of a set of pens I got for graduation years ago. In fact, it looks kind of cheap, although they tried to make it look cool with a racing stripe and other little touches. The handle is weighted, making it uncomfortable to use. I also wish the handle was a little more contoured with a rubberized grip for wet shaving. Five thin blades are installed in the head. There is a blade at the top which I think is for trimming mustaches etc. I don't have a mustache at the moment, so I can't comment on the effectiveness of this feature. Be careful not to hold your razor too close to this edge or you could cut yourself. The glide strip on top started wrinkling after the first use. The head turns, but seems a little cramped. I prefer something that glides smoothly over the curves of my skin. By pressing the button behind the head you can remove the blade and insert a new one. It fits Fusion and Fusion ProGlide blades. I strolled fairly smoothly but with a slight razor sting. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to the new blades. Admittedly I'm a cheapskate, so it's been a long time since I bought a new razor. This is probably not the best beginner razor for a young man; I don't want him to be disappointed. While the manufacturer has put some effort into making it look like a fancy straight razor, I personally don't find it much different than what you'd buy at your local Walmart. So why pay more for a stupid racing stripe on the grip?
