Review on Enhanced InteracTV DVD System Compilation: Unbeatable Value in One Pack by Chris Jens

This is one of those rainy day toys. Kids don't play with it every day, but when they do, they love it. We hooked it up to four different DVD players around the house and never had a problem getting it to work. Children usually use it with the TV in the bedroom. They're sitting across the room in bed. I'm surprised it works from there because of the blades and the angle of the DVD player where they are, but it works; and sometimes when they get into trouble, they just try to move the sheets out of the way or take the InteracTv so it's pointed directly at the DVD player. My kids are 5 and 7 now and the 7 year old still plays with it even though it's too easy for him. We've had it since he was about 4 years old. My daughter was about 2 years old when she started playing it. The DVD contains episodes from the TV series. You know how Dora asks questions and the kids have to yell the answers at the TV? Well, now the kids have to answer them! The answers are presented within shapes on the screen. For example, if the correct answer is in a square, the children press the square on their InteracTv device. You must select the correct answer to continue. Kids can just play games or join an episode, or they can swipe forward and backward. At first I thought that the idea of choosing the right answer by choosing the appropriate form might be difficult for children; But if I'm watching my kids, the average 3 year old shouldn't have a problem. My 7 year old recently asked me to buy more game packs so I went online to get SpongeBob. We have about 4 other playsets and kids play with all of them. This is an amazing educational toy for preschool kids.
