I bought this to replace my Acer N15Q8 Chromebook. I did a few research before deciding on this one due to financial reasons. The. Mistake. It hadn't even been a week since I'd charged my Chromebook when I heard crackling and puffs of smoke coming from the charger. Luckily I hooked it up to a surge protector which worked. It burned out on the power strip, but my Chromebook was fine. I think it's simply because the fuse has blown. That cheap power cord ended up costing me more because not only did I have to buy a new extension cord, I ended up buying a new power cord. The adage "you get what you pay forโ definitely applies here. I have recently emailed the company twice but have not received a reply. I just chalked it up as a lesson learned. Spend a few bucks more and buy better than this.
