I'm a 68 year old retiree who loves to travel and go out at night (at least before COVID) but as I get older my knee gets worse and my meniscus stays even smaller! And let's be honest who wants a knee replacement and 6 months of physical therapy (now again during Covid) when I'm afraid to go to the hospital to start surgery and also with another 15lbs on mine and without that excess body ! Well, because I don't want to go through all this fuss. I buy braces that always give more support and this thing (for the money spent) would cost 5 times as much at the orthopedist! It offers good soft support around the patella with two 6 inch white nylon/plastic side panels that provide firm yet flexible support. The nylon side panels are sewn into the brace and notched/segmented to provide the flexibility mentioned above. I train at my indoor gym, which consists of an elliptical and an expensive, high-quality rowing machine (as well as weights, bench press, curls, and overhead press), and I wouldn't last half the time if I didn't have that support for the peace of mind mind. like a real knee bandage! I've probably bought 6 different brands with varying levels of support and this is the best of the bunch. However, for me only for the daily walk to and from home, errands, driving to the shops etc. I would say that after about 5 or 6 hours the comfort becomes an issue! However, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
