I bought these liners basically for driving because they are very soft and flexible. They work well as just gloves themselves but can also be liners. I can see using them in a pair of gloves for extra warmth, but these are quite warm enough. A bonus is that I can use my cell phone without taking the gloves off. These gloves heat up very quickly which is a plus in the event I am running late. I am going to buy a few extra batteries I can keep charged up in the car.These are really excellent gloves and comparatively speaking a good value as well.
