As other reviewers have noted, this tool requires gorilla strength to make really good picks. If you are trying to get that power with your hands, DO IT WRONG. Clamp vises to the ends of the handlebars if you did everything by hand. If you're using it to make CV CV boots, you probably have the wrong tooling as well. This tool is more for the inner tie rod boot. The CV axes are important enough that they often give you torque specs or ear measurement specs. This tool has no provisions for the torque specification, unlike its older brother which has square shanks on the handles. Because of the anvil shape of this tool, you will not make perfectly even crimps. They've tried to mitigate the rectangular-type issues as much as possible with this tool, but the inside of your ear will likely be a bit tighter than the outside. It's a small price to pay to be able to service a car's internal tie rods rather than removing the steering rack.
