I'll admit the burrito tongue was a little strange at first as this is my first pair of shoes with this design, but it only took me two or three times to get used to it. If you're not familiar with the term (I wasn't), it's just that the tongue is attached to one side rather than being a separate piece in the middle. So pulling the two halves apart and sticking your tongue up to insert the leg gets a little tricky, but it's actually not that bad. I don't know if that's a huge benefit, but I will say that they feel great when I put them on. These are fantastically light and low-cut shoes. They offer great stability, IMO, and a good fit - not small, but snug. I wear size 9 and this size fits me perfectly. I recommend waiting a few minutes when you first receive them (of course on carpet or a clean floor in case you want to return them). Sometimes I just love new shoes. Sometimes you need a little. They belong to the second category. The Burrito's tongue got me thinking at first, and then the feel of the sidewalls and outsole felt a little light for me. But after about ten minutes I really started to like her. Now I like to wear them when I work out at home. I have the black and gray version and love the primary colors and the red accents. It's just a damn attractive shoe. I've tried two Under Armor shoes so far - this one and a pair of basketball shoes. This is by far my favorite of the two. Basketball shoes are not bad at all, but they are awesome. The slim fit and burrito tongue aren't for everyone, but if you like the look, I recommend trying them out. I'm very glad I tried them.
