The 'sticky' material means fins and other gear don't easily slide in or out of the bag - which can be a plus as it makes it harder to lose gear, but you'll need to detach or roll it pick it up to put it in or take it up and down to get it out of your pocket. That being said, I usually rent a BC and regulator, so this bag is absolutely perfect for all the basic gear I need (fins, mask, snorkel, accessories: land buoy, flashlight, whistle, computer, water bottle, snacks with a little extra (maybe could even fit a regulator.) Just used it on a week trip - no rips or seam issues If this bag ripped I would still buy another one just the same.
