I tested three cars today: one was a Ford 150 8 cylinder. Tested all eight Coil On Plug (Coil Over Plug) coils in about 3 minutes! Everything checked out fine. Tested a 6 cylinder Ford car and found the spark plug gap was too small. Tested a second Ford car with a 4 cylinder COP (took about 30 seconds) and found that all COP circuitry was working properly. In the auto repair industry where tech time is money, this tool is a lifesaver! If you're trying to determine if you're getting the crankshaft position sensor signal needed to generate a spark, this tester is a good place to start. A good spark means the CKP is signaling. I can't say enough good things about this tool. Tells you the spark is good and the combustion chamber has good burn time. If you don't want to waste time analyzing the spark in the COP system with an oscilloscope, use this tool. Can you say I like this tool? would anyway!
