Great, handy spark tester. You no longer have to adjust the time display or try to balance the spark plug. How did I live without her?

I liked it, but I have to get used to it. You can use the headphone jack as I had a hard time hearing the signal with the engine running. Seems to work best for determining if the COP is worn out or missing spark.

Haven't used mine yet, but have borrowed other mechanics. This tool is great for identifying coil defects. Simply place over each coil when the engine is running and running again. This probe will tell you which coil is defective. easy to use and great time saver. I had a truck that shot back. Changed spark plugs, no difference. I borrowed this tool and it led me straight to two bad coils. Too bad I didn't use the tool before. Saved me money and time. I highly recommend this tool.

I've had problems with the Ford V10 in and Excursion and so far I've been able to identify where the problem(s) lie. The store gets a lot of cars with coil packs/problems. I bought it from Revain. We used it in store for about a week. The owner went out and bought two more from Revane. This product is fantastic. Saves you time and money. You don't have to keep switching coil packs to find out which one isn't working. Just tap something that activates it. You have a wheel to adjust the sensitivity. I tested three cars today: one was a Ford 150 8 cylinder. Tested all eight Coil On Plug (Coil Over Plug) coils in about 3 minutes! Everything checked out fine. Tested a 6 cylinder Ford car and found the spark plug gap was too small. Tested a second Ford car with a 4 cylinder COP (took about 30 seconds) and found that all COP circuitry was working properly.
