This is a quality storage tank. Thick plastic tank. I upgraded it with a 3/4" brass tank through fitting and replaced the plastic tank that came with the tank. I then used the rubber spacer from the original, 3D printed another washer and melted the whole thing together with aquarium glue. Absolutely tight, tested the pressure of half the tank over several days. No drops. Everything was fine with the original tank fitting, but I wanted metal-to-metal contact because it connects to a brass valve.
