Great jacket! I love this style of Columbia products, the dry fit inner cuff with thumb holes is amazing. The jacket is a great weight to carry and move around when you are active in it. Slightly longer than many jackets of this length and has a small ponytail at the back to cover the buttocks which I like. Waterproof against light rain and snow. It's pretty warm. I can wear it underneath on particularly cold days, but also wearing this jacket instead of a parka because I walk, bike, ski also keeps me warm so I don't know if you need to adjust for that. I live in Alaska and it's good for me. I'm 5ft 6in, 135-140, and I have a small, I can put multiple layers underneath including fleece. The fleece-lined hood and pockets are a nice touch, as is an additional inner chest pocket and outer zip pockets. Excellent jacket of excellent quality with no expenses. a small fortune at the next brand level
