If you are looking for machine washable sponges these are sponges. They can be cut in half to make two beautiful sponges. I find they work best when dampened with a little water. You can then wipe down the kitchen worktops and clean them with your favorite cleaner. I find they absorb well, are odorless and work great in my kitchen. The advantage of sponge towels is that they can be washed 300 times in the washing machine. I think they last a long, long time! However, I would not recommend tumble drying them. I just dry them in the dryer. They tend to shrink if you put them in a hot dryer. Rebecca's review
