Okay, they're not that bright. I use them for the small vanity mirrors in my car. Not that it's necessary, but I wanted to convert all the lights in my car to LED. They are really bright, you have to respect the polarity. When I first installed mine, I came across one that appeared to be defective. Not in this case. This is part of the instructions. You must respect polarity for these lights to work properly. They are the size of glass fuses. I would say that the ease of installation depends entirely on your vehicle. I have a 2012 GMC Acadia and had to struggle to remove the plastic covers to access the headlights. Of course, once the plastic covers were removed, installation was easy. I am writing a review after 5 months of use. These lights work the same as when they were first installed. Good product and materials.
