I've done a lot of housework and worked in the construction industry for 10 years and I never thought you could have caulk guns with different draw ratios (or gauges). I've always used a cheap caulk gun and then complained when I had to use liquid nails. Recently my car window came loose from the plastic latch on the actuator and I had to reattach the glass to the actuator. In my research I discovered that it was necessary to use glazing urethane to attach the window to the plastic and I noticed that many people complained about how difficult it was to remove the urethane from the cartridge. I also noticed that several people mentioned that you need a good caulking gun and it should be easy. This led me to research caulking guns and to my delight I found this tool. Getting the urethane out of the cartridge was incredibly easy, I've also used it with liquid nails with no problems and have also used it for a base acrylic sealer and it works well too.
