Review on EBC Brakes DP31856C Redstuff Ceramic by Josh Clifton

Excellent brake pads for daily driving with sharp turns. I installed them on a Hyundai Genesis coupe with non-Brembo brakes and the installation went as smoothly as any other pad. The lacquering is high quality, pleasant and glossy on the sides and back of the lining. The pads also look pretty good and complete. Just remember not to reinstall the OEM pads on it. One sentence is enough. A big plus is that it also comes with a small packet of brake lube, which is a nice touch. Attach them to the tabs on the sides of the pad, on the back of the pad (above the spacer) and on the slide pins on the caliper. One thing that sets EBC apart from the pack is the abrasive coating on the surface of the pad. . This dark colored part is intended to accelerate wear over a period of time and to slightly level the surface. It is always preferable to put pads on new brake discs or at least on resurfaced brake discs. Given that new rotors currently cost a bit more than pads and those pads last a very long time, I think it's at least worth considering in most cases. . Well, as expected. Considering that on most cars the limiting factor is the tires, not the brakes, and harder brakes don't matter as long as the ABS is engaged, which is pretty good. Braking is progressive and you have control over the strength at all times, both when decelerating and when pedalling. They are not noisy either, and that in combination with perforated and slotted rotors. That's all. These are my favorite pads at the moment. I just want them to come up with some rear brake pads for the Genesis coupe.
