I recently bought a Sony Bravia 4K TV to see what it's all about. Since my satellite provider does not support 4k channels, I decided to purchase an FMPX10 media player to take advantage of my TV's capabilities. Spring. I get an error message saying my HDMI port is not compatible with this player. I've tried everything and called Sony support to no avail. I can't understand how Sony can sell high quality TVs like the XBR 65 907 and this expensive media player knowing they have compatibility issues. A Sony support rep told me they needed to install a 'special' HDMI port on my TV. This is simply unacceptable.
