I have a frying pan that I really like, but then it's covered in brown grease. I thought it was pretty baked and there wasn't much I could do. I heard about this stuff so I thought... well. I still thought I had to rub hard, but you didn't. If you soak it on the fat with water and let it sit for a few seconds, you will actually see it break down the hardened fat back into soft fat. I started rubbing, I had to replace my elbow a bit but not much. It just came off and my pan was nice again. So I used the powder on my greasy oven door window. The whole window was brown. I had to work hard but ended up washing all the hardened fat off the door.
