The idea is great, but don't waste your money on these fairy lights.
First, upon carefully unwinding very thin wires from the paper it was wrapped around, one wire immediately snapped. When I aligned the garland, another wire broke and the garland was about five feet long. They glow and are cute because I'm crazy about dachshunds. As for the remote control, it's useless. I can't even connect the end of the charging line, it's too big. So now I have a 5 foot dachshund fairy light with a remote control that is useless because it cannot be charged. Of course I'm sending the dachshund's fairy lights back. I was so looking forward to her arrival.
