I ordered these because I thought they would match my existing legs. It turned out that the thread is too wide, even though it is the right size screw. I thought, no problem, I'll take the equipment that was sent with the new legs. A big problem. The new hardware didn't chew wood well, so each leg screwed in and pulled out the teeth again, destroying the hole drilled. The only one I've been able to make progress on with a few issues, the plastic has bent and broken and now I'm stuck with useless legs and having the same issue of my ottoman being too short. So. This can work for you. But keep in mind that you might just run out of money, a risk I wouldn't take.
