I installed this on a Honda XR650R that was converted for street use. I wanted a speedometer and thought a tachometer would be good too. I got by without both, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. For $20 I said why not buy this product. The caliber is relatively strong and feels well built. Better than I expected. I was scared to install it, but it turns out it wasn't that bad. For those who might be interested, I connected the tach wire to the hot wire that goes to the coil. RPM seems correct. As one reviewer pointed out, the speedometer can be switched to MPH. I'm still evaluating, but for now I'm very impressed.
