I've been using a different bike seat for my youngest for two years, but she's grown quite a bit and her legs are cramping in the old seat. We ride my converted e-bike so our rides are often 10-20 miles! It got to the point where she complained and lost interest in our LONG bike rides. So I started looking for different seating options. I finally decided to try this because she asked for a back seat and it was one of the best I've seen. The seat arrived in good condition with no problems. I found some mediocre instructions included but to be honest I just assembled and installed based on pictures and common sense. Relatively easy for me, but I'm mechanical. I was definitely concerned about stability and durability until everything was assembled. Once assembled this is a pretty solid seat. This provides ample legroom for my relatively tall 5 year old. The seat was comfortable and she likes the backrest. We only added side protection to make it easier to get on and off. I had no intention of installing any of them but she insisted lol! After a 10 mile ride yesterday I have to say we were impressed. She never complained, she even said the fit was perfect and she felt comfortable the whole time! My only issue with this seat is that it doesn't install and remove quickly like my previous seat. however, it makes this option more reliable and stable, which is why I still prefer it now!
