This 5/16" tube socket for 3/8" ratchet is ideal for a Dodge 5.9L Magnum v8! -founded by ChrysCo. Engineers used the entire lubrication system of the block: Roller jack oil pan plugs (x2) = 3/8" NPT steel pipe plug Oil filter pressure zone plugs (x2: under filter + side of filter zone = 3/8" steel pipe plug NPT, large galley plug at rear of the unit (x1) = 1/2" NPT steel pipe plugs. Suitable for replacing all of the above square drive plugs with hex equivalents of NPT steel pipe plugs, so should another overhaul extend the life that much easier for the next man (or girl ) working on your little Mopar block Don't forget oil resistant thread sealant to prevent internal oil leaks!
