This is a simple machine designed for something simple - LABEL printing. It doesn't require much thought or design planning. Then why not have EASY software that you open, enter the correct information on the label, let the machine recognize what type of label stock is set, adjust the width and length accordingly, and SIMPLY MANEUVER THE PRINT WITHOUT TIRING MANUAL GUIDANCE AND MENU SELECTION? This software is unnecessarily complex and looks (and looks) like it was inherited from some Windows 98-era software. I want simplicity. I want to print and print a label in less than 10 seconds. I don't want to make sure the ribbon selection in the $%^& printer driver matches the ribbon selection in the device, I don't want to manually grab rulers to adjust the label length to my needs. I type, etc. Someone needs to code a simple, quick application that will pop up, ask you what to type, AND THEN DO IT. The hardware itself is amazing, but I've used it less than five times since I bought it two years ago because it's such a headache.
