On a 2020 Ninja 400 you will not be able to fit this all the way down the stem as the inside of the stem expands and the bushing supplied will not fit. wide enough to grasp the inside of the stem. The bottom line is that it won't fit unless you raise it about 1.5 inches where it's no longer flush with the stem, but the stem is already in service. You can see the gap in the photo below, it's not that much, it just took a lot of work to get it where it is and it seems like the claim that it matches the Ninja 400 just doesn't true is. You can mount it a number of ways or with an alternative mount that mounts to almost anything, but you won't be flush with the center bar on the 2020 Ninja 400. Even with my iPhone 11 in the unit it has a lot of back and fourth play which isn't great on a bike. The screw is as tight as it can be, but it still wobbles a bit.
