Review on HENCKELS Statement Paring Knife: Sleek 3-inch Black/Stainless Steel Blade for Precision Cutting by Andrew Kay

Dear Henkels, Warm regards - replaced my wonderful 40 year old 10 inch chef's knife free of charge. I thought that not only would I support them, but I would also get an excellent product. The problem with these knives is that the handle is uncomfortable. The main reason for this is the very sharp edge that my index finger comes into contact with. I've tried filing a little shallower but it's still uncomfortable and makes me feel like I'll end up cutting my finger. Other knife makers have chosen to avoid this problem, but not Henkel's. I like their other knives, but I wouldn't buy this expensive and cumbersome paring knife again.
