I ordered this because it looked better than most evaporator fans. You get a cheap plastic fan with cheap hardware, a control panel, etc. with a USB DC connector for a battery pack. No AC connection. I opened the rim of the water and ice basin and the latch seemed almost ready to break and as instructed. Don't lose the little spring, clean the replacement filters? I didn't even have time to return it. You can do the same and save money by filling a bowl or basin with ice cubes and placing it in front of a weasel or other box fan facing the bed before bed.
