We are very happy with our electric fireplace. It's adorable. At first I was surprised at how narrow (depth gauge) it was, but it still looks very nice and I don't really notice it now. Surprisingly, we really like the blue flame and ash color. I thought this color was too artificial, but it's really attractive. I really like the glass doors and the wire mesh inside is much better than if it was just clear glass in the front. To me, the wire mesh looks less artificial. We rarely use heat, we bought it mainly for the look of the flame. We are very happy with the product. The only downside is that if you open both glass doors at the same time, the entire chimney will tip forward. It doesn't have enough weight in the back to offset the weight of the open doors. Of course, there is no point in opening glass doors, but there is always a risk that a curious child or adult can open them.
