Over the years I've used tons of XLR cables from well known brands like Whirlwind and Peavey. I've also used a couple of unnamed generic XLRs, as has everyone else who has run into a cable issue. Before I pick up this Lyx Pro cable, I want to tell you that the Peavey cables were the best I've ever used. Now that I've used this cable, I'm not sure. First I connected the cables to the various microphones. Regardless of which mic I tried, the connectors felt *very* solid and didn't wobble at all. The Lyx Pro connectors are without a doubt the most durable connectors I've ever used and I know I don't need tape on the top of the connector to make the connection to the mic secure. .The cable itself is of excellent quality and feels comfortable. It flexes a bit when you use it, moving it back and forth in tight spaces, but I haven't noticed any of these issues when I've used the cable in a larger space. Overall these are great cables and I would buy them again and recommend them to anyone.
