This artificial manzanite branch has a beautiful fan shape with thick and thin branches, perfect for the home aquarium. It is finished in black which adds drama to the hardscape. At first glance it looks real. The branch is delivered partially assembled. That means you have to stick smaller plastic branches into the trunk. I found this beneficial as it allowed me to make several different configurations until I found the best one to work with real wood pieces and rocks that I also use in my tank. The branches don't bend, but the joints can be rotated to get different positions. If you use several specimens of this artificial manzanita in your aquarium, you can change the arrangement of the branches and the orientation of the trunks to avoid the unnatural look of identical trees. You can also leave the section branch and use it separately in your design. A weighted base is a good idea, it keeps the end of the torso on the bottom.
