When I first used it, the whole kitchen started smelling like burning chemicals. I only boiled water. It turns out the handle isn't exposed to heat, which would be nice if the pot wasn't so small (literally just a few inches in diameter) that it doesn't make any design sense. I still use the pot from time to time, but I always have to use it on the same stove with the smallest surface and place the pot all the way to the edge of the stove, otherwise the whole apartment smells of burning chemicals. If your stove does not have a smaller burner top, you cannot use this product. Even if it is, this pot is quite troublesome to use.
