I don't wear makeup so I can't confirm removal but I have an oily face so it's ok. I alternate between this and salicylic acid. It leaves a clean feel with no residue, but I'll probably use salicylic acid anyway. Quick note: 1 pack means I even know the picture says '2 packs'. Another small note folks, if you have girlfriends staying with you you will find this very handy to have in your first aid kit.
