Every feature works, hasn't broken yet.
These days it seems to be very difficult to find a basic wall clock that actually works reliably. I've had many of them suddenly fail, even more expensive "name brand" ones (Seiko). So far, after 1.5 months, this "Hito" clock is working reliably, and is indeed quiet and non-ticking. It appears to be using a Dongguan YoungTown 12888ST movement. The light-up hands are a very nice feature, and the brightness adjustment has a good amount of range; I keep mine turned quite dim. Aesthetically, the hands illuminate somewhat unevenly, but they work fine for telling the time in the dark. So far so good. If the clock keeps working for 5+ years, I'll be entirely satisfied.
