For years I thought we needed a fly trap but this year these crazy flying critters are swarming through our house and attacking me and one has stung or bitten me in the eye. That was the last straw and I ordered this zapper. The first one that came didn't work, but was quickly replaced with a working one. In the picture I deleted the crash bugs (windy) but I wanted to show the monster bugs we get. Today the tray was about half full, but mostly they scattered. As soon as I put this thing on the porch it started clicking before I got 10 feet. During the first few nights, the large beetle tray was not only full of these things, it overflowed. Within 10-20 minutes after they hung up, they were off our screen and I was able to get in and out with no errors. There are fewer bugs and I'm so glad I got it. He's working on other bugs. There was even a catchy tune in this tray today. All kinds of bugs and flies get in and make our porch ours again. I placed it closer to the back door than recommended, but we leave the back porch light on for dogs, so I wanted to keep it close enough for that. because. I placed it about 10 feet from the back door. I'm thinking of buying a few more because we have a chicken coop in the back and I think it might be useful for keeping flies in the back, maybe even one for the other side of the house. A really great zipper for the price.
