Review on 🐦 Tall Bird Cage - Blue Ribbon Heavy Gauge by Beth Wilson

As you may have read, the cage is NOT THAT "heavy-duty". This is a standard fine wire cage. the right places. Closing the main door is really nice, secure and easily adjustable; and the bottom wire shelf can be lifted and removed from the large cleaning door without removing the cage from its base! Brilliant! Sure, too many perches and toys can get in the way, but it's very easy to take the whole cage off the base :) Now for the bad news: whoever designed the feeding bowls MUST BE SHOT. the cage sucks, my left pallet won't stay in place and falls right into the cage! No big deal, right? "So if the trays don't work, I don't need them", right? INCORRECT - When the trays are removed there are two gaping 4" x 3" holes in the cage! How silly is it to produce a birdcage that requires the shells to be in place for the cage to be secure?!? Not to mention that even if they fit properly, you would still have to take them off to clean them. A bird (if it is no larger than a gray parrot) can climb out directly! Some "brilliant" designers MUST understand the head! BUT, sa-la-vie! I don't like plastic bowls anyway, so the issue of a poor fit doesn't really matter in my case. I simply make a permanent patch out of either thick plastic or a small square "chicken" wire. So yes I am leaving the cage with the holes patched which is exactly what I wanted.
