Hallelujah! Finally there is a cheap alternative to the unique MAC SSD connectors, literally for anyone who bought a 2013-2015 MacBook. All previous alternatives were really unreliable otherwise you would have to buy another overpriced option from Oura or whatever it's called. This works like a charm. Installation is very simple and straightforward - just watch a video available on YouTube. I heard that not all SSD brands work with MAC, but it worked in my case. I got a $140 1TB XPG Gaming SSD from Revain, which is a very powerful SSD. My read and write speeds are up to 500% faster than the 128GB SanDisk SSD that originally came with my MacBook! I just installed it today, but so far everything is working fine. Also my MacBook Pro model is A1502 - Mid 2014.
